Reach High Advising provides step-by-step guidance throughout the college application process and helps students set plans and goals in the years leading up to college. Our ultimate goal is to reduce stress and create comfort & excitement throughout the application process. It can be an intimidating time but thrilling as well!
Academic Planning
The initial step in your college application journey is to map out a four year academic plan and review your transcripts. This phase includes curriculum planning, interest exploration, and development of a standardized testing schedule.

Major Exploration
Assessments and exercises are used to identify skills, learning styles, personality traits and more. We help you identify possible majors and careers based on these attributes.

Essay Brainstorm & Review
It is important to identify essay topics that convey your distinctive attributes. During the summer before senior year, we provide a brainstorming workshop for the personal statement essay. We also offer assistance with review of the personal statement and supplemental essays.
Extracurricular & Summer Planning
Identify opportunities for students to pursue their interests and engage in activities that expand leadership, impact and engagement in the community. We also help you establish a schedule of visiting colleges and demonstrating interest.
College List Building
Through questionnaires, research materials, and one-on-one advising meetings, we help you identify goals, preferences and characteristics that appeal to you in a college. Based on these criteria, we assist with research and creating a targeted list of schools.
Step-by-Step Application Process
A custom application tracker is provided to help you manage the details and timelines of applications. We also help you develop an academic resume, showcase activities and achievements, strategize letters of recommendation and prepare for interviews.
